OMMU is
The Office of Medical Marijuana Use, or OMMU, manages the Florida medical marijuana programs and provides Florida state marijuana information to all the patients looking to register or re-register medical marijuana cards. They are often called the medical marijuana use registry or OMMUR, MMURegistry, or the Office of Medical Marijuana Use Registry.
Their purpose is to hold the information for:
1.Registering for the Florida medical marijuana card
2.Verifying approval by the state of Florida for medical marijuana
3.Annual renewal of your medical marijuana card
When will I know I am approved for a Florida Medical Marijuana Card?
It usually takes 5 to 7 business days for credit card payments to process. Once the payment has been processed, you will receive an email with the approval in about 5 business days. The physical card should arrive within a couple of weeks through the mail.
How do I renew my Florida Medical Marijuana card?
Renewing your marijuana card is the same as when you first get your card.
