Our Story
MMJ Health was founded in late 2017 by our founder and CEO, Marshall Morgan, who recognized the need to expand access and knowledge about medical marijuana in Florida. Since we began operations in 2018, MMJ Health has grown to become one of the leading medical marijuana clinics in the state. Today, we serve patients across multiple states, striving to educate and support them throughout their health journey. Meet The Team
Travis Coyne
Travis is the Patient Care Manager at MMJ Health. He oversees day-to-day operations and staff as they conduct progress reports for patients to monitor the efficacy of cannabis treatment. Travis started his career in the hospitality industry and bartended for almost 10 years. Other roles have included working in the dispensaries, loss prevention at a bank, and even as a caregiver for chimpanzees at the world’s largest chimp sanctuary. Having originally come from Michigan, Travis loves taking advantage of everything on the water. If he’s not in the office, he’s on the boat with his family.
Nicholas Russo
Nicholas Russo is the Business Development Manager at MMJ Health. He was born and raised in Palm Beach County and enjoys traveling and spending time with his nieces, nephews and dogs. He graduated from Florida State University with a B.S. in Political Science. He has been with MMJ Health for 2 years and formerly worked in the franchising and compliance industries. His primary focus is new patient acquisition, developing effective sales solutions, new market initiatives, and day-to-day operations.
David McCurley
David McCurley is the Front of House Manager at MMJ Health. He currently deals directly with tasks at the physical office locations, such as dealing with patients’ first visits, setting up new office locations, answering any questions regarding medical marijuana dosages/routes of administration, and maintaining the physicians’ schedules. David has been working in the medical field for the last 10+ years, previously working in behavioral and mental health, but decided to switch to working with a more natural and less pharmaceutical approach to medicine to help people get a better grasp on their mental and physical health. He has been with MMJ Health for over five years.
